I'm resending details to you as I haven't received a reply nor an SMS almost a week afterwards . There is a problem with both sound channels which I believe is related to the jack end of the headphones. Sound loss first occurred while listening with one channel dropping out and then while waggling the jack which was connected to an iPod the other channel failed too. If I waggle the jack end sound does come back but only intermittently but I cannot maintain a clear connection. I have checked the headphones on more than one device and they have not sustained any physical damage either.
